Where the Mony Goes

The Associated Press took a look at the $500 million in pay raises voted by Congress and made a few rapid-fire calculations about the costs of Big Government ¶The federal payroll (including the armed services) is now over $10 billion a year.

¶Six of every 100 workers are directly in the pay of the U.S. Government. ¶The Government payroll alone costs each federal income taxpayer $227 a year.
