A running mate for Tom Dewey is a problem to which Dewey strategists
have to give some thought. Dewey recently talked to Harold Stassen.
Last week Stassen arrived in San Francisco on his own presidential
campaign. Would he consider the vice-presidential nomination? Said
Stassen: "I would not consider running with Dewey."
