Inventions recently registered at the U.S. Patent Office, as reported in the National Foundation for Science & Industry's Digest of New Inventions:

¶ An amusement ride for parks and carnivals, which "gives the impression of riding inside of bowling balls."

Ҟ A non-splash cuspidor, shaped so as to prevent ricocheting onto rugs.

¶ A pocket comb which sprays hair tonic as it combs.

¶ A portable cabinet for infants' bottles, nipples, etc.; it can also be used, in a pinch, as a utility camp stove.

¶ A strapless brassiere, "constructed around plastic cups that lift from under the breasts and extrude them....
