The publisher of the leftist Inminbo at Seoul, Korea, had been called on the carpet. Why, asked Lieut. General John R. Hodge, had Inminbo lambasted General Hodge's administration?

The hapless publisher swore it was not his fault. "Because of the recent [war] situation," said he, "I can no longer control my writers."
