Jeffers as his Deputy Rubber Director, Colonel Bradley Dewey, Cambridge manufacturer of synthetic rubber, who got a Distinguished Service Medal in World War I for his work as chief of Gas Defense in the Chemical Warfare Service.

Enlisted in the Army as a private, Benson Ford, 23, Henry's grandson, who had to get special permission from the War Department because he is almost totally blind in...
