World War: BATTLE OF BRITAIN: Battle from Britain

With the Luftwaffe waffing in Russia, the R.A.F. last week had such a good time that the British began to talk of the Battle from Britain. For eight days in succession groups of as many as 150 planes crossed the Channel for the biggest daylight offensives in their history. The British claimed 117 German planes, admitted losing 30.
