War production was halted in the Paterson, N.J. plant of Wright Aeronautical Corp. last week when male employes went on a full-fledged protest strike after the company stopped distributing milk each afternoon because too many romance-bent workers made too many passes at the pretty milkmaids.

Industrial wages in June were up an average of 154% over a year before, the National Industrial Conference Board reported. This is just over the 15% cost-of-living rise since Jan. 1, 1941 which the War Labor Board has decided entitles everybody to like wage increases.
