After the war bright young British
parsons will be put on motorcycles and sent out to serve bigger "Panzer
Parishes," according to plans announced last week by the Church of
England's Ecclesiastical Commissioners. And, instead of living each in
his own hamlet like pre-war curates, they will live together in
bachelor "clergy houses," commute to work on their cycles.
