The Student, undergraduate paper of Amherst College whose most famed son was Calvin Coolidge, last week came out for the re-election of Franklin Roosevelt. Reason: it found "Governor Landon a colorless and unconvincing candidate." Editor-in-chief of the Student is Henry Stuart Hughes, grandson of Chief Justice Charles Evans Hughes, the G. O. P.'s 1916 Presidential nominee.
