"Names make news." Last week the following names made the following news:

Last fortnight's obituaries of H. P. Re of Coldwater, Mich, said he had "the shortest name in the country." Immediately protests were made by Ed Py of Newcastle, Ind., Fin Ax of Indianapolis, J. Ur of Torrington, Conn., etc., etc. Then newshawks undertook to find out who really had the shortest name in the land. Baltimoreans dug up the name Tau-chun I, onetime Chinese medical student there, but they had forgotten that in China surnames come first. Winner last week seemed to...
