virtually Regent, concluded his European visits, started many weeks ago
(TIME, May 12). Ascording to newspapers, when the swarthy Prince left
Marseilles for his native heath he was "buried under a mountain of
gifts." Thirty tons of luggage had he, most of which consisted of gifts
ranging from dogs to clocks.
