"I am a soldier of the church," said the Most Rev. Fulton J. Sheen, 71. "The general has told me to go there, and I love it." Pope Paul VI had ordered Bishop Sheen to Rochester, N.Y., where he will take over the diocese, assuming his first pastoral assignment in 42 years.
