Cinema: Prosciutto and Melancholy

"It is a sad house where the cock is silent and the hen makes all the noise." So clucks a resident of Santa Vittoria, summarizing the marriage of the Bombolinis, Italo (Anthony Quinn) and Rosa (Anna Magnani).
