Broadway: Take Me to the Bank on Time

My Fair Lady is the fairest lady in all Broadway's history and is still adding feathers to her beplumed hat. Fair Lady has grossed $18 million on Broadway, $37 million on the road and abroad, $15 million from sales of the original cast album —each an alltime record. Last week Warner Bros, offered $5,500,000 for the film rights—the highest price ever bid by Hollywood for a Broadway production (previous record: $2,270,000 for South Pacific).
