Fair Lady has grossed $18 million on Broadway, $37 million on the road and abroad, $15 million from sales of the original cast album each an alltime record. Last week Warner Bros, offered $5,500,000 for the film rightsthe highest price ever bid by Hollywood for a Broadway production (previous record: $2,270,000 for South Pacific).
