Last Gasp. In Cincinnati, Travis Zellis. sentenced to 90 days in jail for larceny, was sent home on probation after fellow prisoners and guards complained that his snore was too loud.

Following the Plot. In McClusky, N. Dak., two farm hands were caught stealing grain to raise enough money to see the movie The Ten Commandments.

Soft Touch. In Cleveland, arrested for hitting her husband over the head. Mrs. Velma Kazlauskas told police. "I used the aluminum frying pan because it is lighter than the iron one."
