Franklin D. Roosevelt called Washington Columnist Drew Pearson "a chronic liar." President Truman called him "an s.o.b." Last week Columnist Pearson got further presidential notice. Pearson had written that, unknown to newsmen cover ing President Eisenhower's recent "golfing-hunting sojourn" with Secretary of the Treasury George Humphrey at Thomasville, Ga.. Vice President Nixon had paid Ike "a secret visit" to talk about his own renomination.
