One day last week, U.S. Sabre jets shot
down nine enemy MIG-15s. It was the biggest one-day bag of the Korean
war (previous one-day record: six, on Dec. 22 and Oct. 2). Although the
Red jet flyers have been improving recently, the Sabre pilots,
according to U.S. airmen, have been improving even faster.
