Last week the Democratic Party won control of the U.S. House of Representatives by a 29-seat margin, 232 to 203. Of the 435 places in the House, only 27 changed party hands; 22 of these were taken by Democrats (including one from an unaffiliated incumbent, Frazier Reams, in Ohio).
