In recent years, Russian science has been content to go its way, relying on the West only for those few closely guarded facts which it could successfully steal. But when the Russians change a line, they really change it. As part of the new propaganda drive to persuade everyone that the East and West can cooperate, a passel of Russan scientists arrived breathlessly and unexpectedly last week in Copenhagen on the fourth day of a seven-day gathering of the International Union for the Protection of Nature.
