So urges the old sea chantey. Last week Commonwealth Statistician S. R. Carver revealed another interesting fact about Australian girls: seven out of every ten of Australia's teen-age mothers in 1951 conceived their first babies without benefit of marriage; 28% of all the year's firstborn children were conceived out of wedlock.
