Foreign News: As Old as You Feel

Much of the speculation caused by the convocation of the Communist Party Congress in Moscow (see above) centered around whether or not Stalin is ready to retire. An authoritative answer to that question turned up in West Germany, in a movie pieced together from Russian films and newsreels. One scene shows Joseph Stalin (played by a Soviet actor) working at his desk. The clock in the Kremlin tower strikes midnight.
