To meet the growing needs of U.S. mobilization, a whole new crop of Government agencies is sprouting up in Washington's alphabetical garden. Though most of the actual operations are still centered in the old-line Government departments, there are dozens of new boards, bureaus and committees busily making plans, setting policy and supervising operations.
