Happy Chandler is sure that fans everywhere want him to carry on in his $65,000-a-year job as baseball commissioner. Last week he made a major speech in his campaign for reelection. At a dinner of the New York Baseball Writers' Association, attended by most of the club owners who oppose him, Happy pleaded for unity under Chandler leadership.
