Radio: Color in Court

In Chicago last week, the CBS color TV system inched forward against determined RCA resistance. A federal court dismissed the RCA suit protesting the Federal Communications Commission decision in favor of CBS. But, since RCA may still appeal, the federal judges ruled that the injunction against the starting of CBS commercial network colorcasts must be kept in force until April 1, "or until terminated by the Supreme Court."
