Having made its decision in favor of Columbia Broadcasting System's color television (TIME, Oct. 23), the Federal Communications Commission rubbed salt in the wounds of defeated Radio Corp. of America. It asked RCA to turn over its tri-color tube to its arch-rival so that Ctfb could experiment with it.
Last week from RCA's President Frank Folsom came a blistering refusal: "Your request cannot be regarded as ... in accordance with the well-established American principles of free competition and fair play. If this kind of thing goes on in America, the Phillies certainly missed a bet in the last World Series....
