This was the tragic end of an afternoon's walk two youngsters took through the woods of Bedford, N.H., to nearby Sandy Pond. Two firemen are lifting out the bodies of Irene Biron, 12, and her cousin Robert Bourque, 7, after hacking out a 25-ft. channel through ice to reach them. A search began when the youngsters failed to come home at dusk one day last week, continued through the cold, foggy night.
