Among them: Amalgamated Meat Cutters and Butcher Workmen of North America, American Veterans Committee, Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith, N.A.A.C.P., Catholic Interracial Council, the Protestant Episcopal Church, Improved Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the World, the Methodist Church, United Automobile Workers, and Young Women's Christian Association.
