¶ Iowa's Democratic Governor Herschel Loveless, who has a vice-presidential gleam in his eye, made an unscheduled sortie across the Mississippi to Moline, Ill., for a testimonial dinner for Massachusetts, hard-running Senator Jack Kennedy.
