U.S. children, accustomed to having their radio programs start off with the rattle of machine-gun fire or the whine of airplane propellers, might have trouble believing the news. A new BBC show for British moppets, called Listen With Mother, is a thoroughgoing success. The program begins each day with the calm, reassuring voice of onetime Schoolmistress Jean Sutcliffe inquiring: "Are you sitting quite comfortably?"
