The Democratic Convention takes the top spot this week on the four radio networks and 18 television stations. The four television networks, NBC (with LIFE), CBS, ABC and Du Mont, will again offer sidelights, speculation, scorekeeping, interviews and convention color; the TV stations will again pool resources for maximum coverage of doings on the floor of Convention Hall. The sideshows will get under way on Thursday, the main event on Monday evening, with Senator Barkley's keynote address.
