Fact & Fancy. In Hobart, Okla., 76-year-old J. S. Mayabb shot his wife dead, explained to police that she kept tuning the radio to programs he detested.

Simple Subtraction. In Newark, Mrs. Belle Bearison lost a purse containing $25, got it back with only $17, plus a note from the anonymous finder explaining that she herself had once lost a purse with $8 in it.
