U.S. Protestants are well aware that they have lagged behind Catholics and Jews in the task of finding suitable places in America for Europe's displaced persons. Last week, Church World Service, an overseas relief agency for 20 Protestant and three Eastern Orthodox denominations, took a decisive step to make up the deficit: it launched a campaign to arouse Protestant interest in the plight of Europe's homeless.
