In a crusade against gambling, the Atlanta Journal (circ. 246,000) last week printed the names and addresses of 1,500 owners and operators of slot machines, which are illegal in Georgia. The Journal got the names by checking on who had paid the federal stamp tax on the machines. High on the list was Atlanta's Capital City Club. President of the Capital City Club: George C. Biggers. President of the Atlanta Journal: George C. Biggers.
