Key Largo. A veteran recovers his manhood fighting gangsters. Bogart, Robinson, Barrymore, Trevor and others do fine work in John Huston's impressive adaptation of a Maxwell Anderson play (TIME, Aug. 2).

The Emperor Waltz. Bing Crosby, Joan Fontaine, his pooch and her pedigreed poodle find their appropriate mates in Technicolored Vienna (TIME, July 19).

Fury at Furnace Creek. A western with Victor Mature, Reginald Gardiner and some skillful suspense (TiME, July 5)....
