From somewhere in Germany TIME Correspondent Sidney Olson, who last week watched Lieut. General William Simpson's fresh and powerful Ninth Army roll up to the Rhine, cabled:

This afternoon two doughs of the 83rd Division went across the Rhine at Düsseldorf. They didn't come back. But that was only the more proof that all traffic over the Rhine is one way.
