Negroes in Oberlin, Ohio have always had to go out of town for their professional haircuts because local barbershops barred them. Last week Oberlin College students and faculty, some of whom had let their hair grow in protest against this discrimination, were getting haircuts beside Negroes in their own cooperative shop.
