Canada at War: THE DOMINION': The Dominion

Private Charles Storey, a soldier of the Canadian Army overseas,* came home to Toronto, an invalid of war. His children, Bob and Sandra, went to meet him at Toronto's Union Station. A photographer caught the meeting.

*Last week, Canadian Lieut. General H. D. G. Crerar announced in London: "Today there are more than a quarter-million Canadians trained and ready [in Britain] for the last battle."
