Meade, Md., competing with three camp movies, Maurice Evans and Judith Anderson presented Macbeth, drew 1,000 soldier spectators, wound up with ten excited, claqueless curtain calls. When question cards were passed put, 900 of the spectators replied emphatically that they wanted more shows like Macbeth. Only complaint: "The seats are too hard."
