ARMY: Silent Fish

Ordered to 28 days of active duty last week was Colonel Hamilton Fish Jr.. of the U.S. Army's Specialist Reserve.* Congressman Fish helped to organize a Negro regiment (the crack 15th Infantry, now the 369111 Coast Artillery) during World War I, served in it as a captain, and won the Croix de guerre. As a procurement officer in the Specialist Reserve, Colonel Fish will have more use for a pencil than for a gun, will presumably return to his loud duty in the U.S. House of Representatives after his Army month is over....
