National Defense: Vengeance

Last week a new dive-bomber for Britain appeared: the Vultee Vengeance. Its military load, range, speed were secrets. Unofficial claims indicated that it can carry upwards of a ton of bombs, that it has a range of 1,000 miles or more, a diving speed of better than 300 m.p.h. Its power plant is an air-cooled, radial Wright engine (the 1,700-h.p. Cyclone).
