Religion: Unanimously Legal

In Ohio, a statute was passed and signed providing that "treatment of human ills through prayer alone by a practitioner of the Christian Science Church, in accordance with the tenets and creed of such church, shall not be regarded as the practice of medicine." This new law made Ohio the 48th state of the U.S. to legalize the public practice of Christian Science as a healing art.
