Faces scrubbed, most of the nation's kids went back to school last week. The big & little red schoolhouses were again going to be crowded to the rafters.
The U.S. Office of Education predicted that college enrollment will set a new high of 2,750,000 students600,000 more than last year's record. Of them, about 1,325,000 will be ex-G.I.s, 10% more than the previous high last April.
