In South Africa's Grass Valley, near Pietersburg, last week a stern native father and his rebellious son fell into a quarrel over a bag of grain. In the heat of the moment the father grabbed an assegai and hurled it. It entered the boy's open mouth. Promptly the son pulled the spear out and hurled it back at the father, whose chest was pierced above the heart. Then, just before dropping dead himself, the son seized an ax and cut off his father's head.
