Young as You Feel. In Boston, Benedetto Pelezotto, 85, reprimanded his wife, 83, with a hatchet when she objected to his attentions to a younger woman, 80. In Santa Monica, Calif., rowdy Seprano Chavez, 103, was put on probation for two years by a judge who thought he was old enough to know about the evils of drink.

Disappearing Act. In Cleveland, a theatrical costumer's store called in police to aid in the search for 221 missing yards of expensive blue-&-white satin, described as "constructed specially to give the illusion of not existing."
