Education: Beyond the Next Dance

Connecticut has more boys' prep schools per acre than any other state in the Union. Last week it got a new one, organized to be different.

The Romford School, perched in the Litchfield Hills, will be on the grounds of an old school of the same name, which folded in 1942. Its 60 students will pay a tuition of $1,580 a head. Its brash slogan: "College preparation PLUS!"
