Education: Rubble Rousers

Students at the Russian-controlled University of Berlin last week were learning one of Communism's chief tenets: "the annihilation of the difference between physical and intellectual toil." Because the university was 80% destroyed by bombs, the Russians have decreed that all healthy German students—including coeds—must spend 200 hours a year picking up rubble. Unhealthy students may make up for it by "increased political activity."
