On the way to their camp after an evening well spent in a pub, two Tommies ran into a dark figure.
"Friend," said the man.
"Go 'way," said the Tommies.
"Friend," repeated the man.
The Tommies leaped on the man, discovered that he was a Nazi flyer, shot down in that night's raid on England and trying to surrender.
