This week Congress will probably send to the President the Pay Bill, whose up-&-down fortunes soldiers & sailors have watched for eight months. By July Johnny's minimum monthly pay (now $21 to $30) will be $42, with 20% extra for overseas service, retroactive to Pearl Harbor. Minimum monthly pay for enlisted men of other nations:
