A rider to the questionnaire asked about favorite comics and columnists. Comic winners: Blondie (33%), Li'l Abner, Little Orphan Annie and Gasoline Alley (each 8%). Columnist winners: Westbrook Pegler (26%), Raymond Clapper (19%), Walter Lippmann (14%).
