The Press: Stars & Stripes II

The Stars & Stripes, famed paper of World War I's A.E.F., is going to be revived-in England. Following on the heels of the War Department's decision to get out a World War II successor for Stars & Stripes under a new name, Yank, for distribution to all the scattered A.E.F.s of World War II (TIME, April 13), two Army officers in London announced that they would revive the Stars & Stripes for U.S. troops in Britain. Their first number will be Vol. 2, No. 72. Its price: threepence.
